2-cups all-purpose flour, sifted
1-tsp cooking oil
warm water, as needed
-All ingredients should be allowed to come to room temperature.
-Mix flour and salt in a bowl.
-Slowly mix in enough water to make a thick dough.
-mix in teaspoon of oil.
-Knead dough on a cool surface for a few minutes, adding a few spoonful of dry flour.
-Return dough to bowl, cover with a clean cloth, and let it rest for thirty minutes.
-Pre-heat a lightly oiled skillet.
-Separate dough in to orange sized balls. Flatten into six in circles. Fry in skillet until lightly browned and spotted, turning once.
-Keep warn in oven until ready to eat. Served buttered.
-Enjoy with stew, soup or any curry dish.
